New Resource: Second Edition of The Local Power & Politics Review

The second edition of the Local Power & Politics Review is now live and features a series of articles that explore how some states preempted local authority across a host of issues during the pandemic. The new edition also includes a deeper look at how state and local power struggles are playing out and impacting various issue spaces, such as efforts to protect public health authority.

The Local Power & Politics Review is a space where researchers and advocates engaged in combating abusive preemption can share ideas, strategies, and resources. Our first edition was published in fall 2020. Access the latest edition here.
